Scholarship Cohort
(2019-2023)
LSU top-merit based scholarship recipients are apart of the the Scholarship Cohort. Both Stamps Scholars and President Alumni Scholars receive a full scholarship to Louisiana’s Flagship University. Prospective freshmen, with a strong record of high academic achievement, leadership, and service, are nominated for consideration through the admissions process.
In the Spring of 2019, A. Basse received the honor of being selected as one of ten President Alumni Scholars for the Class of 2019. This award is one of LSU’s Top Merit based scholarships.
President Alumni Scholar
In the Spring of 2020, the Scholarship Cohort participated in the Geaux Summit Conference. This conference served as a collaborative effort between the scholars to discuss issues facing Louisiana.
Geaux Summit
Every year during the scholarship selection process in the Spring semester, past scholars themselves serve as guides and information specialist to the prospective recipients. This way they may gain more knowledge about the scholarship and the cohort.
